Join the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra for Opening Night at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 26th or at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27th at the Wheeler Concert Hall at Casper College.

Experience the talent of one of the most famous flute players in the world, Carol Wincenc, who will join the WSO musicians to perform an American masterpiece written for her, the stunning Renaissance Concerto by famed composer Lukas Foss. The concert playfully begins with Rossini’s frolicking L’Italiana in Algeri Overture and concludes with the warmth of Antonin Dvorak’s 8th Symphony.

Tickets are currently on sale for the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra’s 66th concert season, which includes highlights from internationally renowned guest artists performing Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saens and Mozart. Music Director Matthew Savery has selected music and talent to showcase the state-of-the-art acoustics in Casper College’s new Wheeler Concert Hall, where the orchestra will reside until the restoration of the NCHS auditorium is complete in summer 2016.

New this season is the option of performances either Saturday evening at 7:30pm or Sunday matinees at 2:30pm on concert weekends. Ticket prices are the same for both performances at the beautiful Wheeler Concert Hall. We continue to offer the Family Pass; which gives access to dress rehearsals on the Saturday of each concert weekend starting at noon, $50 for the season for the entire family.
