When you look at the sign on the store you're going into, you get a good idea of what you're getting into. If you walk into a Taco Bell, you're pretty certain a taco or two will be served, or if you're walking into Kentucky Fried Chicken, there better be a chicken leg or two on the menu.

If you've walked into any of Wyoming's stores lately, you've noticed the price stickers have changed, and not in the way we'd like them to change. They've all gone up.

A couple of stores across the Cowboy State may need to rethink their front signs. At Dollar Tree, you won't find many or any items for $1. They may need to add $.25 to the name to make it more accurate, and maybe even $.50.

This is a piece of the Easter ad, and the items that used to be just a buck are now a quarter more expensive.

One of the fun parts of going into the store was getting stuff for $1, but man, they're breaking the bank. Four items will now cost you $5.

The company says the reasons behind the price increase are #1, inflation, and #2, that the clientele can afford the prices. Most of the minimum prices at the store are already at $1.25, but now it looks like the minimum will be heading up again.

According to an NBC report, the prices will range from $1.50 to $7.

Wyoming has several Dollar Tree/ Family Dollar combination locations across the state.
