How Does Wyoming’s Ian Munsick Get Inspired For Songs?

When songwriters are looking for inspiration, they'll look everywhere to find it. It may be the scenery around them, a clever expression they hear at a bar or even the sweet sound their kid makes while singing along with them.

Ian Munsick didn't need to look far to be inspired.

This video, found on Ian's Instagram, shows the singer kicked back in a chair, strumming his guitar, when the camera pans to a miniature version of him doing the same thing. He is relaxing on his chair, guitar in hand, wearing cute little footsie pajamas, and singing and howling with his dad.

The moment the howl for White Buffalo was born… thanks for the help, son.

Not long ago, the Wyoming singer was on stage at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, entertaining fans with his Wyoming-rooted songs, like the title track to his album, White Buffalo, and the title of the documentary White Buffalo: Voices of the West. This is another way that Wyoming inspired Ian in his career.
