Support Glenrock’s Culinary and Management Teams At Thankful Thursday
Congratulations to both the Glenrock High School’s Culinary and Resturant Management teams on winning the Wyoming State Championships. Now these talented kids need your help to make it to the National Competition in Baltimore, Maryland.
Not one but two teams of talented high school students will be working hard this week for your donations. Two fundraisers are scheduled for this week, starting with and event this evening at the school. The second part of their fundraising efforts will bring these young men and women to Thankful Thursday to show off their skills and hopefully raise enough money to get to the national competition.
The Wyoming State Champion Culinary and Management teams from Glenrock High School have organized an event to include live and silent auction items, an expo of the Culinary team’s menu, Management hosting, and a 50/50 raffle.
The culinary team will also be auctioning off a dinner for ten catered by the team. The fundraising event is scheduled for tonight – April 3, 2012 at 5:30 pm at Glenrock High School and we will have a similar item for auction at Thankful Thursday this week.
They have a little over a month to raise approximately $12,000 for the trip to the National Competition in Baltimore Maryland on April 28-29, 2012.
They are graciously accepting items to be donated for the auction or any type of monetary donation.
The top four monetary sponsors will have their name/business placed on each member of the culinary team’s jacket for the national competition.
