It’s the culminating event for Class 3A and 4A girls’ basketball teams, as they compete for a championship in Casper.

The Ford Wyoming Center (FWC) and Natrona County High School (NCHS) will serve as the host sites.

Cheyenne East is the two-time defending champion in Class 4A and seeks a three-peat in 2023. Douglas has won the last four in Class 3A (2020 was canceled due to Covid and no titles were given out). The Bearcats go for a fifth straight.

Final Score: Game 5: Douglas 62 Lyman 43 - semifinal - Bearcats reach their 5th straight title game. The Bearcats out-scored the Eagles 20-9 in the final quarter to pull away for the victory.

Final Score: Game 6: Buffalo 36 Newcastle 30 - semifinal - Bison make their first title game appearance since 2018.

SATURDAY, MARCH 11:

Final Score: Game 10: Powell 47 Pinedale 44 – Consolation Trophy Game

Final Score: Game 12: Newcastle 41 Lyman 40 – 3rd Place Game

Final Score: Game 7: Douglas 60 Buffalo 46 (FWC) – Championship Game - Bearcats win their 5th consecutive championship, 13th in school history. Olsen led the way with 28 pts and 5 steals, Brooke Wright had 14 pts and 7 rebs. Rule had 20 points and Peterson added 14 for the runner-up Bison.

Niemann had 14 pts, and Boysen had 11 pts and 5 rebs. For the Bolts, Spelts had 20 pts and 7 rebs, and McCarty added 14 pts.
