The holiday season is almost here. Thanksgiving is coming up on November 28, and to ensure folks in Casper have the option of a great Thanksgiving meal, we're collecting Birds and Bucks to help out.

It’s unbelievably almost time for the holidays, which means it’s time to get ready for the annual holiday food drive, Birds N Bucks, sponsored by Townsquare Media and Greiner Ford and powered by Lithia.

Birds N Bucks began years ago when Brian Scott, a local DJ, heard about a turkey shortage for Thanksgiving food baskets. He parked his truck in front of KTWO Radio and jumped on air to challenge Casper to show up and give.

Since then, Birds N Bucks has become an annual event where Casper and the surrounding communities show up and share their love for Thanksgiving.
Birds N Bicks kicks off at 7 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at the east side Walmart in Casper. Proceeds from the event support families living in Natrona County and help ensure turkeys and fixings are available to those in need. Last year, we distributed over 100 turkeys and fixings.

We are reaching out to you to ask you to consider supporting Birds N Bucks:

Volunteer to help collect food and cash on Friday or help distribute food to families at Lifesteps Campus on Saturday. Families will drive through a distribution line, and volunteers will load birds and fixings into their cars.

Hold a BnB Challenge, where you challenge another (or more) business or group to meet or exceed your gift of birds or bucks to the turkey drive, held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 22. We will give you an on-air shout-out and promote your gift on all of our social media.

Donate HERE via PayPal.

We hope you will consider partnering with us to bring Thanksgiving meals to family tables in our community. Your partnership and support make a difference for families.

If your family needs help for Thanksgiving, you can fill out this form.

If you have questions about Bird N Bucks, please contact Jamie Purcell at (307) 258-3368.

Thank you so much for considering our request.
