Here To Help Foundation Of Wyoming’s Great Auction Items

Since Thankful Thursday returned in the Fall of 2021, we've seen many different auction items. Firearms have been the most popular, but we've also seen many grills, bicycles, sporting event tickets, vacations, fishing and hunting trips, and baked goods. We even saw a go-kart.

We gather at Wyoming Downs at the Beacon Club on Thursdays to raise money for Casper and Central Wyoming charitable organizations. You can win prizes by showing up with the bottle draw, chucking ducks for a cash prize, buying raffle tickets, and purchasing items in our live auction with auctioneer Colby Hales.

It's a great night, and we always have fun. If you've never been, or it's been a while, you should join us. We kick the event off at 5 p.m. Take advantage of 2-for-1 Happy Hour and a Thankful Thursday dinner menu, all in a family atmosphere.

Since 2021, I've done almost 70 Thankful Thursdays, and there are a couple of auction items that I've never seen.

Boats and motorcycles.

That will change this week with the Here To Help Foundation of Wyoming. A 14-foot StarCraft Aluminum boat/ trailer, a 50cc motorcycle, and multiple firearms are up for auction.

1. Hope floats - kayak with life vest, fishing pole & tackle

2. Morning and night it's alright - bistro set with birdhouse, lantern, wine, wine holder, wineglasses, coffee press with coffee, and two pictures

3. Can't bear it -  infamous Wyoming bear 399 and her cubs custom photo taken by a supporter of ours Karol Mathison, bear lamp,  bear table and wall decor

4. Rooted - wall art collection by Bonnie L Mohr

5. Gangsters paradise - 380 auto by Old West firearms from Gunner Industries with a whiskey smoking kit, whiskey and cigars.

6. Sitten pretty kitty - cat tower with food, cat tunnel, cat toys, cat food and dishes.

7. Don't have a cow -  multiple highland cow table and wall decor set with a custom tumbler

8.  Leap of faith - great picture with table coasters and faith table decor.

9.   Let's Un-Wine - outdoor wine carrier, two bottles of wine, wine buffin, free set of nails by Regal Nails, free cut and color by rustic edge

10.  Girl hunt - woman's Bear compound bow, quiver pack, quick release and hunting back pack

11.  Neighbors feeding neighbors starter pack - grill, drink cooler, grilling tools and supplies with 100 dollar gift certificate to Albertsons

12. Reaching in - Bible, devotional and inspirational decor for any first responder

13.  Fish 307 - waders, fishing hat, fishing net, fly rod and reel, flies, and fishing vest

14. Ride Wyoming - 50cc kids motorbike with helmet, goggles, and gloves

15. Man can - bucket toolbox with miscellaneous tools and  new DeWalt drill donated by Tim at Ace Hardware on Second St

16. WYOSTRONG - Wyoming cowboy stadium seat, multiple shirts, custom cup and a whole bunch of Wyoming stickers and decor

17. Surviving Wyoming - A 30-day food supply bucket, fully stocked survival bag, and emergency kit with a P-17 Stryker 22LR  from Gunner Industries.

18. Family night in & out - popcorn machine with all the fixings for a night in, 50-dollar gift certificate to the movies for a night out

19. Beer wagon - An 800-pound utility wagon filled with various beer and drinks. It will be heavy.

20.  Smore things - outdoor fireplace with wood, two chairs, fire color changer, table top fireplace, all the fixings for s'mores and outdoor tic tack toe board

21. Pimp my ride - 250 dollar detail from kings auto spa, free oil change, car cleaning bucket and a new ball hitch

22. Ours is cooler than yours - Custom cooler built for the Here to Help Foundation of Wyoming by a local supporter

23. In the crosshairs - 250 foot per second crossbow with sight, gilly suit, and a hunting backpack

24. Buy me a boat - a 14 ft StarCraft Aluminum boat on a trailer. New seats. New tires. 2 electric trolling motors. 3 gasoline outboards. (One needs a small repair part.) external fuel tank.
