Another Great Week Of Thankful Thursday Is Here

Thankful Thursday is off to a great start for 2025. With two successful weeks under our belts, we're back in action this week with the Brain Injury Advocates of Wyoming (BIAW).

For about 35 years, BIAW has provided support and resources to people facing tough challenges. As the years have passed, the needs have grown, meaning the support and resources have evolved.

BIAW offers services that include:

Education and prevention.
Information and referrals.
Case management.
Financial management services.
Medical equipment loan closet.

A strong support group is necessary to aid in a full recovery when someone is going through a life-altering medical event. With BIAW, you and your family can focus on your situation while receiving the help and support you need.

To help with their mission, the BIAW will be our featured organization for this week's Thankful Thursday at the Beacon Club in Mills. We'll meet at 5 p.m. with raffle tickets and chances to win cash and prizes, have 2-for-1 Happy Hour Specials, dinner, and wrap the evening up with a live auction beginning at 6:30.

Thankful Thursday Schedule of Events:

5 p.m. - Doors open, and we give out wristbands for the bottle draw. (A chance to win cash and prizes just for coming out). Also, we begin selling 50/50 tickets, gun raffle tickets, and ducks for Chuck-The-Duck. (we'll chuck the ducks as soon as all 25 sell, then re-sell as many times as we can)
5:15 p.m. - First Bottle Draw
5:30 p.m. - 2nd Bottle Draw
5:45 p.m. - 3rd Bottle Draw
6:00 p.m. - 4th Bottle Draw
6:15 p.m. - 5th & 6th Bottle Draws.
6:20 p.m. - Draw the winners of the raffles
6:25 p.m. - Hear from the staff/volunteers from Brain Injury Advocates of Wyoming.
6:30 p.m. - Begin live auction with Auctioneer Coby Hales.
