Hundreds Of Miles Of Tumbleweed Trapped by Wyoming Fencing

I was driving from Cheyenne to Casper Wyoming when I began to wonder, why is there a long line of tall uncut crass on both sides of the highway?

That just seems odd.

Well, maybe the farmers cut their hay but could not get in and around the barbed wire fencing.

BUT HOLD ON!

Hay cutting ended a long time ago and we had several snows since then. So what was I looking at?

Just then a tumbleweed crossed the highway!

That's when I realized I was looking at hundreds of miles of tumbleweeds trapped by fencing on both sides of the highway.
