As a Pennsylvania native, I was surprised to be offered a job way out in a place like Casper Wyoming. But having just graduated from college the year before in Ithaca, New York, I was all too happy to accept a position working for a news station, even if it meant I was moving across the country. While this is my first big job since graduating, I have experience working in news all throughout school, from my college’s newspaper, The Ithacan, to a radio station in Philly, WURD radio. Getting the chance to work professionally as a reporter is something I'd hoped to do ever since high school, so I’m overjoyed at the chance to finally do what I’ve dreamed of doing.
