Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo’s Stock Contractor, Cervi Championship Rodeo, will return for the 2013 PRCA Rodeo taking place July 9th- 13th ,2013 at the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo.

It’s no accident that Cervi has some of the rankest stock in the business.  Raising superior bucking stock is what the Cervi Championship Rodeo Company does.  Through careful breeding and patient training, the Cervi Ranch produces animals that cowboys can win on.  Their stock competes at the biggest rodeos in the country, including the National Western Stock Show, Houston Stock Show, San Antonio and San Angelo Rodeos, Wrangler National Finals, and of course, the Central Wyoming Fair & PRCA Rodeo.

The Cervi Ranch, located in Stoneham, CO, near Sterling on 60,000 acres, is run by Binion and Chase along with their cousin Scotty.   The horses & bulls have plenty of room to run & graze.  Out of over 650 horses the Cervi’s own, about 300 are located at the ranch.  The other 350 are at another ranch in Medicine Bow, WY.

The horses at the Colorado ranch are weanlings and yearlings and bucking horses.  The 2 year-old through 5-year olds run on the pasture in Medicine Bow.  Currently Cervi Rodeo has 200 horses on their bucking string.  In addition to the horses Cervi’s raise, they also have bucking bulls.  Currently they have 20 bucking bulls.

Raising bucking stock is not a new to the Cervi family.  The ranch was homesteaded and the bucking part of the operation was started over 60 years ago.  The business was founded by Mike Cervi, Binion & Chase’s father.  The boys took over the operation in 2005, and have run it since that time.
