BOISE, Idaho -- Wyoming had never scored 40 points before in a bowl game.

That all changed Tuesday.

That all changed because of Levi Williams.

The Cowboys' quarterback rushed for 200 yards and scored four touchdowns on the ground inside Albertsons Stadium, a new bowl record for a signal caller. He added 127 yards and a scoring toss, too, in Wyoming's 52-38 victory over Kent State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The Texas native was named the game's Most Valuable Player.

"It's really awesome," Williams said with a smile. "It's about not quitting, knowing your role. I feel like I played my role pretty well. Like I said out there, this game was dedicated to Ayden (Eberhardt). I know he's watching. He's kind of having a tough time right now. My grandmother just passed, it's for her. I know they're watching over me today."
