Looks like Wyoming has won the Border War this time. CollegeSnacks' list of The 101 Best College Towns In America For 2021 barely mentions Fort Collins — which kind of tops pretty much every other 'best' list. What makes it even worse? Boulder also ranked much higher than FoCo.

CollegeSnacks said it ranked 'the type of places where there's energy and stimulation, but the type of place you can walk around at night... the happiest, chillest, most downright fun places where you can send your kids off to college where you won't break the bank, or worry about their well being.'

Number ten on that list is Laramie, home to the University of Wyoming, Colorado State University's Border War rival, and WyoTech. According to CollegeSnacks, Laramie is affordable (OK, the Cowboys have us beat there) and there's a low unemployment rate. Of its 32,000 people, 26 percent are undergrads. So, there you have it.

Just to rub some more salt in our wounds, CollegeSnacks ranked Boulder, home of the University of Colorado, at number 34. What was that thing about not breaking the bank? Keep scrolling, and you'll finally get to Fort Collins at number... 74. You can see the full list here.
