What makes a city great is subjective. Access to employment, entertainment, restaurants, education, and other factors can draw some to the big cities, while others are drawn to the smaller towns where the pace of life, intimacy safety, and a key element, affordability, are desirable.

Wallethub compared over 1,200 “cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 based on 33 key indicators of livability. They range from housing costs to school-system quality to restaurants per capita.”

The study includes four Wyoming cities that did not make the top one percentile, but did rank in the upper sixties, except for one.

Showing Rank first, then city, total score, affordability and quality of life.
