Original Story:

Authorities are searching for a missing teen who told her family she was in danger before the call was dropped.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding 16-year-old Katherine Stewart. She has dyed maroon hair and brown eyes.

Stewart is described as standing 5'5" tall and weighing 230 pounds. She was last seen by her family at about 10 a.m. Friday.

Stewart called her family on Sunday, saying she was in danger and needed help. That was the only information she could relay before cell service was lost.

Her family reported her missing just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. Aaron Shatto. The sheriff's office continues to investigate.

Anyone with information about Katherine Stewart and her whereabouts is asked to call the Natrona County Sheriff's Office at 235-9282.
