Cal Smith Dead at 81 [VIDEO]

Country singer Cal Smith, most famous for his 1974 hit "Country Bumpkin" has passed away at the age of 81.

Smith died in Branson, He leaves behind a wife, son, grandkids, and great grandkids.

I'm not sure what year it was, but I know I was very young when my family and I met Cal Smith at the old El Chico on Stateline. He and his band stopped there in their tour bus, and I got an autograph. I have no idea what ever happened to that autograph.
