Camping and hiking season is here, and if you're looking for food to throw into your pack before you head out, I've found an option.

Cheeseburger in a can.

Yep, it's exactly what it sounds like. When you are hankering for a juicy cheeseburger, pop that top and eat away. After a brief search, I didn't know there were so many options for food in a can, like cheeseburgers.

Honestly, I think I'd have to be pretty hungry to eat one, but I found a video review of one by a YouTuber, gschutlz9. He reviews various ration products from the U.S. and other countries worldwide, like military and civilian MRE kits.

In the video, he says that he's been wanting to try the Trekking Burger for quite a while, and someone sent him one.

He put the can in boiling water to cook the burger for a few minutes. After taking it out of the water, he let it cool down, then popped the top. When he removed the burger from the can, it was in the middle of a sesame seed bun. The problem is that it didn't look anything like what the label on the can showed.

He said it smelled like Japanese or Chinese food, a mixture of teriyaki and sushi. If it were me, I'd throw it into the trash can, but he kept moving forward. When he peeled off the bun, it looked like dog food. Brown and gooey with a red film (likely ketchup or a tomato), and little onions.

I'm not sure how he actually ate it, but he did. He said they wouldn't be getting a huge tip if he went into a restaurant, and that was the burger he got.

I've eaten SPAM, Potted Meat, Vienna Sausages, and Canned Ham, and I have no problem with them. I don't think I would like a canned cheeseburger, though.

Check out his review and let me know what you think.
