If you feel like you're stuck in a deadend job and you want something new, Casper College has an event you need to attend on Tuesday April 22.

The Casper College Spring Job Fair is free an open to everyone. For four hours from 1 to 5 pm, in the "Swede" Erickson Thunderbird Gym. The first half hour (1-1:30) will be for veterans only, then at 1:30 everyone else can enter.

Maybe you're not currently looking for a job, but like to keep an eye on the job market or work on your skills, Ashlee Taylor career services coordinator says to get ready.

Attendees should come prepared to network, apply, and interview at this event and have their references, contact information, and copies of their resumes ready.

The best part of these events is bringing our community together to learn about available resources and opportunities. If nothing else, it is a great way to practice your elevator pitch and build your network.

There will be over 50 potential employers onsite with many of them looking for full, partime, seasonal, interns, and future positions.

Wyoming Mountaineers of Casper College Archival Collection

This collection was found unprocessed but was pieced together in stages over the course of a year, starting with the scrapbook and photo albums created by the WMCC. These items were found first and so were arranged and described at the collection level, and then as processing continued, the climbing vest and pitons were found, followed by various documents and articles written and published on the Mountaineers, all of which brought the collection together.

Highlights of the collection are the artifacts and documentation of the First Graduation Climb on Devils Tower in 1955, the 1956 Rappel off the side of the Casper Gladstone Hotel, and the climbs during the 50th Anniversary of Devils Tower. Documentation on the latter includes a feature in LIFE Magazine.
