CNFR Wraps Up In Casper, See The Final Results
Summer is just getting underway, and the 2026 College National Finals Rodeo is in the books. Casper has been buzzing for the last week with some of the country's top rodeo athletes in town competing to become the champion in their desired event.
Rodeo fans from all over the country packed the Ford Wyoming Center nightly to catch the best-of-the-best in college rodeo. With the addition of the Wyoming Sports Ranch next door, there was an added buzz, as the Mercantile features over 100 vendors, family events, food, music, a kids' cowboy camp, and businesses competing in a bull-riding contest.
I hope you played the license plate game over the last week, because there were vehicles from many places in town, the restaurants were busy, the hotels were full, and Casper's population grew temporarily.
The thrills in the arena were top-notch, and as always, the stands were packed with rodeo lovers, and because of that, it has been announced that the CNFR will continue coming to Casper for the next 10 years.
Casper has hosted the College National Finals Rodeo for nearly three decades, and 2026 was the final year on the current contract, but you can make plans now to see the top collegiate rodeo athletes come to Casper to put their names in the record books.
