Get Ready For Clays For The Brave Returning To Casper

Clays for the Brave is back in Casper to support H.D. Outdoors and Wyoming veterans. After a year off in 2025, the sporting clay competition will return on May 1 & 2. The weekend's event will kick off Friday night, May 1, with the Calcutta and banquet at CitiWerks in Downtown Casper, and the shoot will be on Saturday, May 2, at Casper Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clays.

There are still slots available for teams; if you're interested, grab 3 other shooters and register. The event is limited to 32 teams with the registration deadline on April 28, so don't wait, get signed up today.

Registration for your team of 4 is $800, which includes entry to the Calcutta & a fully catered banquet for the team on Friday night, plus breakfast, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks during the shoot, then lunch at the awards ceremony following the shoot.

Here's a rundown of the event times and locations you'll need.

Friday Night – Calcutta & Banquet

Doors open at five o'clock at CitiWerks in downtown Casper. Cocktail hour runs until six-thirty, followed by live auction, raffles, and a catered dinner by Occasions By Cory. (Team members are covered; if you'd like to bring other guests, it's $30 per)

Saturday – Shoot Day

Shoot Day Casper Skeet, Trap and Sport Clays (700 JC’s Way, Casper, WY 82601). Required safety meeting for all shooters at 8:00 am, breakfast will be provided, shoot begins at 9:00 am. All shooters will need their own shotgun with a maximum of 110 rounds, and a side-by-side or ATV is recommended to navigate the course.
