The College National Finals Rodeo hits Casper next week, and the city will become a staging ground for a slew of events based on this event.

Wednesday, June 18th, Crossroads park will be the home for the CNFR Softball Tournament. While it's players will be be the contestants, coaches, and wives, everybody is welcome to attend and root on their favorite player. For more information, check out the press release below:


 

Casper, WY –The 2014 College National Finals Rodeo is here! Coaches, wives, and contestants are encouraged to participate in and fans are encouraged to attend this year’s CNFR Softball Tournament on Wednesday, June 18th. The tournament will be held at Crossroads Field (1101 N. Poplar St) beginning at 9:00 am. There will be a $1,000 prize and a trophy for the winning team. The 2014 CNFR Softball Tournament is sponsored by Corey and Jaime Ross and Cowboy Ministries Outreach Center.

The nation’s best college cowboys and cowgirls from eleven different regions will enter into the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) arena June 15 – 21, 2014.  The CNFR is the "Rose Bowl" of college rodeo. It is where the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) crowns individual event champions in saddle bronc riding, bare back riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying. National team championships are also awarded to both men's and women's teams.
