A Casper man has been arrested for crashing his vehicle into a building.

Casper Police have arrested Dusty Williams on suspicion of driving under the influence, hit and run and driving under suspension.

Just before 8:30 pm on Sunday, September 11th, a call came in regarding an incident at a motel on southeast Wyoming Boulevard.

Occupants in one room say the door crashed open, being pushed in by a Chevorlet Blazer.

The vehicle then backed up and drove away.

Several witnesses told officers similar versions of the event, and one knew who the driver was, because they had been in a previous dating relationship.

Police found the vehicle and Williams and he admitted he had been drinking earlier. He said he thought he had the vehicle in reverse instead of drive, at the time of the collision.

He added that he ran away, because he was worried about being arrested for having a suspended license (license suspended in April 2014).

A preliminary breathalyzer test showed he had a blood alcohol content of .286.

Williams is awaiting a court hearing.
