It's hard to believe one state could have as many beautiful opportunities as Wyoming does. The Cowboy State continues to let its beauty shine to anyone willing to look.

Wyoming offers many beautiful hot spots, including Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Devil's Tower, Snowy Range, Wind River Canyon, Hot Springs State Park, and the Bighorn Mountain Range. If you're looking for another spot to check out, don't let Glendo State Park and Reservoir slip under your radar.

Glendo is one of the places I've visited the most over the last three years. I've gone fishing, helped with the Wyoming Walleye Stampede, and stayed at a cabin at the B&A Marina multiple times. One of my favorite views is being on the lake and seeing Laramie Peak. You're missing out if you don't take advantage of this incredible place.

If you don't enjoy fishing, there's camping. If you're not much for camping but enjoy adventure, the opportunity to hike, bike, boat, and go on a float are available. If nothing else, being there at sunrise or sunset, the views will put you in a state of awe.

From Casper, it's 1 hour and 4 minutes.

What I'm saying is that if you live on the eastern side of the state, you're not far from the fun and excitement of Glendo.

Take a look at Glendo State Park's website to learn about making reservations at one of the campgrounds, check the regulations from Wyoming Game and Fish if you're going to fish or boat, and check out B&A Marina's website to learn about cabin rentals, restaurant hours, and boat rentals.
