Wyoming Walleye Stampede

The third round was held at Boysen Reservoir in Shoshoni, WY.

141 boats with 282 anglers competed for thousands of dollars of cash and prizes in the Walleye catch and release tournament at Glendo Reservoir.

The 16th season of the elite walleye fishing series kicked off in Glendo, Wyoming.

Fishing, boating, swimming, floating, or just relaxing. The sites are beautiful.

Not every team won money, but in the end everyone was a winner

Wyoming Game and Fish and Glendo State Park have created some of the states best Walleye fishing.

Over the weekend, Glendo Reservoir was the sight of the season opener for the Wyoming Walleye Stampede. The results show that Glendo is fishing really well and looks healthy as a fishery for the next couple of years.

The cheers were heard throughout the arena this morning as the lucky chosen names were drawn and announced from a pool of 90+ contestants hoping to get a chance to try and catch BIG fish in Wyoming.

My first 2 day walleye fishing tournament was filled a lot of fun and a little heartache. The photos and results speak for themselves.
