Country music will get the ‘Glee‘ treatment yet again in a new episode of the hit show airing on Tuesday, Nov. 29. In the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ post-Thanksgiving return episode, one of the characters will tackle the Dolly Parton classic ‘Jolene.’

Even those who don’t regularly watch the show should tune in to catch the ‘Glee’ cover of the country favorite. The song, as sung by character Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) is only the second performance by the actress in her ‘Glee’ career, following a duet last season. Tuesday’s rendition of ‘Jolene’ is sure to be highly emotional, given the plot.

Leading up to tonight, the female football coach had been doing something else out of the norm, other than singing. She’s been opening up emotionally and outwardly pursuing a fellow football coach. Unfortunately, in tonight’s’ ‘I Kissed a Girl’ episode, Beiste comes face to face with her dream man in a restaurant … having dinner with another woman. We know she confronts him, and though we don’t yet know what happens from there, we’d be willing to bet Parton’s ‘Jolene’ will fit somewhere between her loneliness and her pleading for the other woman to take her paws off of him.

Additionally, the ‘Glee’ episode will see covers of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun’ and Melissa Etheridge’s ‘I’m the Only One,’ as well as Katy Perry‘s big hit that the episode is named for.

Country music fans might be inclined to tune in for the Dec. 6 show as well — ‘Glee’ will take on Toby Keith‘s fun drink-friendly hit, ‘Red Solo Cup.’
