Here Is An Easy Way To Make New Friends In Casper

Meeting new people is challenging.

If only a group were putting together a 'meet people' event.

Oh, wait, there is.

Country Kick Up Casper is an area country swing and line-dance group that gives dancing lessons, allows people to meet others, and raises money for area charities. They offer dancing lessons every week at Lifetime beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Beacon on Saturday nights at 7 p.m., and perform at events all over town.

If you're trying to meet new people, CKU Casper is here to help.

On August 10, they're having a full social day designed to open the door and help you meet others. A social float, BBQ, and social dance will be an all-day event to meet someone new.

Social Float: Meet at Robertson Bridge around 10:30 and carpool at 11 to Bessemer Bend. The float will take about three hours.

Social BBQ: Meet at Amoco Park at 5:30 p.m. for a barbecue.

Social Dance: Dance the night away at Amoco Park. This is a social dance time; no partner is necessary, and it will be a mix of country swing and line dance.

If you're considering attending all or one of the events and need more information,  message CKU Casper on Facebook. Especially if you're going to attend the BBQ, they'll need to get an accurate count for food, as they're providing hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone.
