How To Turn Off Those Annoying Facebook Vote Reminder Ads

Lets be clear upfront - no one is trying to be unpatriotic here. It's just that some of us are tried of those constant, annoying, Facebook register-to-vote ads and vote reminder ads.

OKAY FACEBOOK, WE GET IT. Enough already.

Well, there is a way to shut them off and it's not hard to do. So if you have been overwhelmed and have had enough, then open a tab, log in to Facebook, and lets begin.

As you can see here, Facebook knew that this might get to be a little too much before they even began their campaign. That is why they included a handy button to turn off those Voting Reminders. You can see it at the bottom right of the above image.

Registering and voting is important, as long as you know who and what you are voting for. It it were me I would only have this reminder appear on the accounts of those who actually have a clue as to what is on the ballot. If that was possible, I guess.
