Phil Robertson wasn't always the man he is today, actually he was far from what you've seen over parts of the last couple decades.

When you watched Duck Dynasty, you saw a man that was quoting the bible, praying with his family and still showing his love for duck hunting. Long before Duck Dynasty was even a thought, the Duck Commander Phil Robertson, his wife Kay and his sons, went through hard times. Those hard times almost destroyed their family and the future they didn't know they had.

If you've continued to follow the Robertson family, you know they're still producing duck calls, starring on TV shows, doing podcasts and have YouTube channels. Even though their antics aren't displayed every week on A&E, they're still chugging right along.

Over the last few weeks, we've been seeing a lot on their social media pages about a movie called "The Blind". The glue that held the family together in those rough days was Miss Kay Robertson, Phil's longtime wife and mother to the 4 Robertson sons.

This is from Miss Kay's Facebook page at the end of August.

Yes, there are tears in my eyes in this photo, but I’m not sure if they’re tears of joy or sadness. It all depends on when the camera was snapped. This picture was taken of me as I watched The Blind for the very first time, and my emotions were all over the place. I laughed, cried, and cried some more through the entire film.⁣ I can’t wait for you to see it September 28th.

There were definitely some hard moments to watch, but more than anything I’m overwhelmed by God’s love. His love changed our lives forever, and it still blows me away when I think about it. I’d say by the look on Phil’s face that he would agree. Thank you Jesus for your redeeming love!⁣

You're going to be able to see the move here in Wyoming beginning September 29th at the following theaters.
