What is Longhorn Network?

This exclusive network is a partnership between the University of Texas and ESPN, formed back in 2011. You might recall the controversy surrounding this collaboration. The 20-year, $300 million deal with the WorldWide Leader has been pinpointed as the reason rival Texas A&M bolted for the SEC and nearly led to a collapse of the Big 12 Conference. According to the official website, "LHN airs 175 exclusive events a year from all 20 UT sports, hundreds of hours of original studio content, weekly coaches' shows, live press conferences, pre and postgame analysis with Texas GameDay, All Access behind the scenes, and coverage of Lifetime Longhorns. Plus, LHN also covers UT campus academic events and happenings."

How can I watch Longhorn Network?

These providers carry LHN: AT&T U-verse, Cable One, CenturyLink Stream, Charter, Cox, Consolidated, DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW, DISH Network, Entouch, GoogleFiber, Layer3 TV, Sony PlayStation Vue and Verizon FiOS. University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
