Morgan Wallen, Alan Jackson, Luke Combs + More Join 2023 CMAs Lineup

Another round of superstar performances have been announced to take place on the stage of the 2023 CMA Awards.

Four out of five Entertainer of the Year nominees are now confirmed to take the stage, with Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs joining a lineup that already includes Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton. Combs will perform his song "Where the Wild Things Are," but many of the details of Wallen's performance are being kept a surprise until the show: He and Hardy will take the stage with rapper Post Malone for a medley of country classics, and Wallen will return with another surprise guest later on in the show.

Kelsea Ballerini will treat the crowd to her new song "Leave Me Again," while Dan + Shay will also perform something fresh with "Save Me the Trouble." Cody Johnson is also bringing out new material with his new single "The Painter," while Ashley McBryde will perform "Light on in the Kitchen" and the War and Treaty will heat things up with their song "That's How Love is Made." Jordan Davis will take the stage for a performance of something slightly more familiar: He's due to bring his heartstring-tugging hit "Next Thing You Know" to the stage.

Kenny Chesney will be part of an all-star tribute performance to the late Jimmy Buffett, who died in September. Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band and longtime Coral Reefer Band member Mac McAnally will join Chesney onstage for that moment. It's likely to be one of the most anticipated moments of the show, along with Jelly Roll and R&B star K. Michelle's previously announced tribute to The Judds with a performance of "Love Can Build a Bridge."

Jelly's collaborative performance — and his show-opening rendition of "Need a Favor" — was one of the the first round of performances announced in October for the 2023 CMAs. Wilson, Stapleton and Carly Pearce were also announced as part of that list, and they'll all be performing relatively fresh material.

Stapleton's playing his new single "White Horse," while Wilson will treat the crowd to "Wildflowers and Wild Horses," an album track off her 2022 Bell Bottom Country album. Stapleton will also take the stage with Pearce for "We Don't Fight Anymore," a duet they released earlier in 2023.

Bryan will be having a busy night during the CMA Awards — he's also hosting the show alongside NFL great Peyton Manning — but he'll take a break from his hosting duties to perform a medley of his hits, including "One Margarita," "That's My Kind of Night," "Play It Again," "Country Girl (Shake it For Me)" and "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Evey Day."

But those stars aren't the only artists included in the CMA performers. Tanya Tucker was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and she'll celebrate the milestone with a spotlight performance of "Delta Dawn" alongside Little Big Town. First-time CMAs performer Megan Moroney will hit the stage for a duet: She and Old Dominion are performing their new single, "Can't Break Up Now."

The 2023 CMA Awards will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 8. The show will broadcast live on ABC. Wilson is the most-nominated act of the night with nine mentions; other strong contenders are Jelly, Hardy and Luke Combs.

Bryan and Manning are returning to host the CMA Awards for the second consecutive year.
