Meet Regional Authors At Sheridan’s Book Festival

If you love to read and you would like to meet some local Wyoming authors, then you want to be in Sheridan, Wyoming, on September 19th.

The inaugural Mountain West Book Fest takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Whitney Commons Park in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Event Details: Date: September 19, 2026Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Location: Whitney Commons Park, 320 W Alger St, Sheridan, WY 82801. Admission: Free and open to the public (family-friendly)

Regional Authors: Over 20 booths featuring local and regional writers from Wyoming, South Dakota, Colorado, Montana, and Idaho.

Book Genres: A wide variety of genres including romance, thrillers, non-fiction, children's books, poetry, and westerns.

Activities: Bookish vendors, meet-and-greets, and book signings in a casual outdoor setting.

The Mountain West Book Fest is a new literary event in Sheridan, bringing regional authors to our mountain town to connect with local readers, fellow writers, and book lovers of all kinds. Designed to become an annual celebration of literature, the festival will showcase authors and book-related artists from across the Mountain West.
