Suspected Drunk Driver Leaves Trail of Destruction in Cheyenne
A suspected drunk driver was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning following a chain reaction crash in west Cheyenne, police say.
According to Public Information Officer Alex Farkas, the crash happened around 2 a.m. in the 3100 block of Reed Avenue.

1 Injured, Multiple Vehicles Damaged
"Preliminary details show that the incident occurred when the driver of a white GMC Sierra truck turned south on Reed Avenue and struck a parked Jeep pickup truck," Farkas said in a news release.
Farkas says the impact pushed the Jeep into another vehicle parked directly behind it.
"The GMC then spun and rolled, coming to rest on its roof," she said. "The GMC’s truck bed landed on top of a nearby silver sedan - tools and plumbing parts from inside the bed were ejected during the crash, causing damage to other parked vehicles."
Farkas says the driver, a 27-year-old man, was the only person injured in the crash.
He was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for treatment, and as of 12:32 p.m., hadn't been arrested. Farkas didn't know if that was because he was still in the hospital.
Blood Draw Warrant
"Officers applied for and obtained a warrant to perform blood alcohol testing," she said. "Updates will be provided as they become available."
