Jewel and Ty Murray Welcome A New Baby

Congratulations to Jewel and hubby Ty Murray welcomed their first child, a son named Kase Townes. The 7-pound, 6-ounce baby boy was born on Monday at 7 p.m.

"Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby Kase Townes Murray into the world!" the proud new parents wrote in a message on Jewel's official website. "We are overcome with happiness, it really is as great as everyone told us it would be, better even!"

Jewel and Murray have been married for 3 years and announced the pregnancy back in January.
