Kim Kardashian Ambushed At Red Carpet Affair [VIDEO]

While attending an event at the London Hotel in West Hollywood Thursday evening, Kim Kardashian was on the red carpet when a woman ran up to Kim and tossed a white powder substance all over the celebrity's back and hair.

Video of the attack was posted to TMZ's Website last night.

Representatives for the organization PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, told TMZ ... "It was not us. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene."

Apparently, PETA has been trying to reach Kim Kardashian via mail and public protests for sometime to try and stop her from wearing fur garments and educate her in regards to animal cruelty.  To which Kim had previously been unresponsive.
