Country Music Legend, Loretta Lynn is ready to make new music again.   This time around she's got none other than Miranda Lambert in her sights to help her write some of the songs.

Lynn has a way with collaborations.  Her 2004 album, Van Lear Rose, was produced by Jack White of The White Stripes and scored Loretta two Grammy awards.

She recently sat down with The Toledo Free Press and said about Miranda, "She is feisty!  That girl's something else.  She wrote me a letter the other day, and she said it's time we start writing.  And she sent me the idea for the song, so I'm going to have to call her and tell her let's get with it."

In addition to working with Miranda, Loretta has some other talent in mind as well, namely her sisters.  She adds, "We've been trying to pick the songs and stuff for quite a bit.  Me and my sister Peggy Sue, my other little sister, she's singing backup for Crystal (Gayle) right now.  So we're going to record an album.  And I'm going to record all the #1's and then the Top Fives.  And I'm doing a Christmas album, a religious album-I've got some of them already recorded-and another album of new stuff."

Sounds like we're about to be bombarded with Loretta Lynn...and I can't wait!  What do you think about  Miranda Lambert and Loretta Lynn working together?
