Natrona County Area Cops Love Giving Back To The Community
One of the coolest programs that happens during the holiday season is 'Shop With A Cop'. Kids between 3 and 12 in Natrona County have a chance to spend time with a local police department employee and shop.
The police departments from Casper, Evansville, Mills, Midwest and Natrona County Sheriffs Department along with supporting agencies the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Wyoming Game and Fish, U.S. Customs, Natrona County Airport will all be a part of this years program.
The 'Shop With A Cop' program gives and underprivileged kid an opportunity to have a positive experience with a local officer and secure Christmas gifts for the upcoming holiday's.
The program has been around Natrona County for many years and every year impacts families that may need a little extra help.
If you're interested in giving your child a positive experience with a local police officer and give them a chance to buy gifts for themselves and family members, here's your chance. All you need to do is fill out an application for your each of your kids that qualify.

There is certain criteria that must be met before you can apply. Kids must be:
- between the ages of 3-12
- live in Natrona County
- able to separate from family during shopping
- available on the day of shopping
- have the application filled out by Nov. 15
Applications are being accepted now until November 15th. A selection committee will choose the kids to participate in this years 'Shop With A Cop' program. Every application will be considered.
