NCSD Schools Open, No Transportation On Two Routes
In the wake of a shot of winter weather, school official said schools are open in Natrona County today, March 7th, 2019, but there are some transportation issues. At this writing, I-25 was closed from Casper to Buffalo, and Highway 20/26 was closed between Casper and Moneta.
Here's a statement from the Natrona County School District:
"There will be no morning bus transportation for routes on HWY 20/26 or to and from Midwest. NCSD Transportation Dept. is working diligently to contact those families.
Midwest school is open. The primary responsibility in protecting a child’s health and school attendance always resides with the parent or guardian."
We will update this story as more information is available.
