One of the biggest video games that is set for release next year is "The Last of Us Part II" and it's just been revealed that the game is set in Jackson, Wyoming.

The trailer above was just shared by Sony revealing the official release date for the game which is February 21, 2020. If you check out the official Playstation page for the game, you'll notice the following detail:

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.

The new "Last of Us Part II" trailer shows a big part of what looks like a video game version of downtown Jackson. If you are familiar with the original "Last of Us" game, this makes perfect sense since the last level of the game was set in Jackson.

"The Last of Us Part II" is a Playstation-only title that will be available February of next year. Check the official page for more details of a game with a definite Wyoming backstory.
