If Frank Crum's name sounds familiar, it should. Next fall, the 6'7", 250 lb. lineman from Laramie High School will follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as the first third-generation player in Wyoming history.

Frank's father Gary played for the Pokes from 1979 to 1981, earning first-team All-WAC honors as a senior before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins. His grandfather Earl also lettered as a lineman in 1940.

Crum is one of several new recruits who will be carrying on a family tradition. Wide reciever Gunner Gentry is the younger brother of Tanner Gentry, who now plays for the Chicago Bears.

Wyoming wideout Austin Conway will also welcome his cousin, safety Cameron Murray, to the program next year. Murray will compete for playing time in the defensive backfield with Chad Muma. Chad's father Ty Muma played for the Cowboys in 1990 and '91.
