Wyoming is home to many ghost stories, haunted locations, UFO sightings, Bigfoot sightings, and other paranormal activities. If you were to really dive into the haunted history of the state, you'd probably be shocked at the number of locations that claim to be haunted.

One of those places, Casper Mountain, boasts a haunted history, featuring many spooky stories that have become a significant part of its appeal to visitors. People have reported many ghostly figures, like hooded figures, recordings of screams and whispers, alien activity, and the legend of the Lavender Witch at Crimson Dawn Park.

I've been on the mountain many times all by myself, late at night, and something feels off every time. At night, it's REALLY dark on the mountain, and it may be my mind playing tricks on me, but it feels like something is always right behind me or lurking in the darkness.

The mountain's haunted appeal was strong enough to capture the attention of the Ghost Adventures crew. Zac Bagans, along with his investigators, researchers, and camera crew, brought their ghost hunting expertise to Casper to investigate what's going on around here.

The 2-hour season premiere dropped on October 15 for users of Discovery+, and will air on the Discovery Channel on October 29th.

If you haven't watched it yet, judging by this video promoting the episode, these guys were clearly excited to come to Casper, explore, and search the mountain for what is lurking in the dark.

When they were in town filming, a friend of mine was with the group of investigators and mentioned that it was exciting and that people would be happy to see the results.
