Pentagon UFO Videos Explained
When something that can't be immediately explained makes its way through the sensationalized news media, we tend to stop looking for reasonable explanations. The sensationalized version is more fun.
Recently the pentagon released videos of objects caught by fighter plane cameras that gave the news media, and those UFO shows on TV, something to run with.
Sorry to disappoint, but, upon close inspection, these blurs captured by infrared cameras are actually explainable and nothing unusual.
First, infrared cameras can make common things look unrecognizable or strange to the human eye. The image in the photo above is another jet fighter seen in infrared.
Then there is the claim that these objects are maneuvering in ways that modern fighter planes, even drones, can't. However, as the fighter plane tries to maneuver to get a better look the camera view swivels wildly to try and track the target. This in turn makes it look like the object is turning wildly when it is not.
You might hear that the object is moving faster than anything humans have. But that is a matter of perspective. If you are high in the air looking as something moving low over the ground it will appear at a different speed from your perspective than if it was closer to you than the ground.
In the video below you can watch a physicist explain in detail exactly what is going on. He will refer you to link of other YouTubers who have further explanations of what we are seeing.
