A fantastic opportunity presents itself this Friday night. It's a chance to not only listen to great music, sample great food, and enjoy great company, but also a chance to be greatly inspired. Court Appointed Special Advocates invites you to their "Pulling For Kids" Red Wagon Event.

The pulling begins at Sonny's RV, 5:30 p.m., this Friday, March 30th.  For those of you who don't know, Court Appointed Special Advocates is a non-profit organization that provides a voice for children who are in our court system through no fault of their own. Caring, trained volunteers represent and speak up on behalf of the child's best interests in cases of abuse, abandonment, and other circumstances.

Casper native and Nashville recording artist, Pete Martinez will sing the songs of Jimmy Buffett as the evening takes on a tropical flair, complete with Hawaiian theme, food, decorations, and spirits. All the while, the giving nature of this program and these special individuals will be recognized.

I know a couple of people involved with CASA. I think we as busy, stressed-out members of the human race can find it easy to take for granted what these kids are forced to endure. It can't be stressed enough how vital a program like this is to the community. Unfortunately for us all, the need is greater than ever. Fortunately, the most innocent of victims get the justice and hope that they deserve. If you would like to help serve that cause, just click here.

Tickets for CASA's Red Wagon Event are $60, or two for $100. Proceeds support CASA's continued efforts to protect and serve our children.
