The first strong storm of the season will impact Casper and the state today with strong winds and scattered rain and snow showers. Winds will be the strongest early in the day before dropping off this afternoon and tonight. Scattered rain and snow showers will be common in the north, central and west today. On Saturday, expect a continuation of cloudy and colder conditions with areas of rain and snow showers redeveloping and persisting into early Sunday.
High school football fans should bundle up tonight. Cowboy fans can expect snow showers on the drive to Logan, Utah on Saturday, especially on I80 in the morning hours of Saturday.
