BOWLING FOR FORGIVENESS

A Florida man who was busted for getting into a scuffle with his wife will have to answer that strike with another strike - now that a judge has ordered him to take her bowling as part of his punishment.

Judge John Hurley gave very specific instructions to Thomas Bray, who reportedly got into it with wife Sonja after she yelled at him for failing to wish her a happy birthday. To make up for that offense, he was ordered to bring her flowers, then head out on a date right out of The Bachelor.

Hurley ruled, "He's going to go home, pick up his wife, get dressed, take her to Red Lobster. And then after they have Red Lobster, they're going to go bowling."

SQUATTERS HOGGED HIS POSSESSIONS

A Florida homeowner came home from vacation to find his place occupied by squatters who'd literally turned the place into a pig sty - by moving in with their pet hog.

The squatters, a man and a woman in their 30s, had made themselves at home for a while, building up a stash of cocaine and marijuana, which they were protecting with guns and at least one live hand grenade. Both of them now face drug and weapons charges.

CHARGED WITH A
FOOT FAULT

Cops socked it to an Ohio man who was charged with drunk driving after fleeing the scene of a car crash wearing nothing put a pair of socks.

It wasn't immediately clear if Torriano Brown was the driver or the passenger in the Ford Taurus that rear ended another car. But since neither he nor Willie Chandler - who was fully clothed - would discuss the matter, both got slapped with the same charge.
