Sleeping In Isn’t A Great Idea When You Visit Yellowstone
One of the biggest complaints many people have about visiting Yellowstone National Park, besides the animals not cooperating, is the traffic. Millions of people travel worldwide to visit the park, and it seems they all come simultaneously.
It's bad enough when you get caught in a bison jam for hours, but when you add thousands of visitors to the mix, it's a big ol traffic mess.
If you've ever been to the park during tourist or vacation season, you know the key is to arrive early. By being one of the first vehicles in line, you can ensure you don't have to wait to get in.
My grandpa always lived by the "early bird gets the worm" motto, which is particularly accurate when it comes to entering Yellowstone.
The park has many entrances, but it doesn't matter which one you go to. It seems that lots of people are trying to enter the park and begin their adventures.
If you've never been to the park, you have no clue what I'm talking about, so I found some videos to help. If seeing large lines of traffic gives you anxiety, get ready to feel extremely nervous.
Another reason you should get into Yellowstone EARLY, like 5am, and not 9am!

Another way you can avoid daily entrance gate traffic jams is to plan and reserve campsites or hotel rooms inside the park.
