If you're a Star Wars fan, and even if you're not, here's your chance to indulge your inner Jedi. The Science Zone in Casper is holding their first annual Star Wars Day on Saturday, May 5th, as they recognize both "May the Fourth Be With You" and "Revenge of the Fifth." You're invited to don your best fan gear and join the Science Zone to celebrate one of their all-time favorite sci fi movies, according to a release. Admission is free.

You can "explore the power of the Force in our world" with hands-on activities throughout the day, and sign up for one of the build-your-own light saber workshops. Light saber tutorial workshops start promptly at 10:15 a.m., 1:15p.m. and 2:45 p.m. You can register the day of the event, but materials and space are limited.

More from the Science Zone:

"Light Saber tutorials are an extra $5 per project for materials. Complete your Jedi training with this special Makerspace activity during our Star Wars Day celebration. Harness the power of the electric force, learn a little bit about light and how to manipulate it, and create paper circuits to build your own handmade lightsaber. Aspiring Jedis of all ages are welcome!

We will offer workshops starting at 10:15, 1:15 and 2:45. Each workshop will last 30-45 minutes. Children under the age of 9 should be accompanied by adults. Materials cost $5 per project, but regular admission to the Science Zone is FREE!"
