Many people will go to great lengths to avoid the uncomfortable and awkward windbreaking around their partner when they begin a relationship. It will happen after a while when you get a little more comfortable. Still, though, it can be a little too much for some people, and they can't handle excessive farting.
Cutting the cheese may not be the main reason a couple would get divorced, but it could be the final straw that breaks the camel's back and be a factor in the end of the marriage. A study in 2021 showed that healthy choices were in the top 10 reasons for divorce. What you eat can cause gas and it may seem like a stretch, but that could
definitely be one of the factors.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, the average person produces up to three pints of gas from letting 14 farts fly every day. Even though everyone does it, some people can't handle the embarrassment and uncomfortable feelings, and it could lead to a messy divorce.
Dr. Julie Gatza (Dr. Julie) of the Florida Wellness Institute says there are ways to reduce your flatulence.
Although having gas is common, it can be uncomfortable and embarrassing. Understanding causes, ways to reduce symptoms, and treatment will help most people find relief

Gas comes from two primary sources: swallowed air and the normal breakdown of certain foods by harmless bacteria in the large intestine. Fats and proteins cause little gas.

Foods that often cause gas include the following:

  • Beans
  • Vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, onions, artichokes, and asparagus
  • Fruits, such as pears, apples, and peaches
  • Whole grains, such as whole wheat and bran
  • Soft drinks and fruit drinks
  • Milk and milk products, such as cheese and ice cream, and packaged foods prepared with lactose, such as bread, cereal, and salad dressing
  • Foods containing sorbitol, such as dietetic foods and sugar-free candies and gum

There are a couple of ways you can cut down the ways and times that you have gas.

  • Stay away from things that trigger gas in your body.
  • Take supplements that help eliminate or reduce gas by helping the digestive process.
  • Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that can contain issues in your stomach and intestines.
  • Eating at the right time of the day can help your digestive system digest the foods that may be causing gas.
