Sugarland's Jenifer Nettles and Kristian Bush say they are going to be giving up all control of their new tour when it launches in April. The tour will be called "In The Hands Of The Fans". The new stage show will rely exclusively on fan requests to determine the set list for each city.

Joining Sugarland on the road this summer will be "American Idol" runner up Lauren Alaina and new artist Canaan Smith opening shows.  Jennifer Nettles has said that the fans will become "conductors" of their unique shows by sending in requests through text messages, handwritten signs, social media (Facebook and Twitter), and phone calls. Jennifer adds that if it's on a Sugarland record or they have played it on any stage, it is "fair game."

The tour kicks off April 5th in Toledo, Ohio and the current list of dates runs through mid-August.  There are no Wyoming or Colorado dates on the schedule, yet.  But Sugarland will be performing at the World Famous Buffalo Chip campground during Sturgis this summer, on August 10th.  Tickets were not on sale for that show at the time of this post, but we will be sure to let you know when they are!  You can CLICK HERE to check on other tour dates and ticket availability.
