2012 was a fantastic year for pranks. Remember that awesomely sassy 'Psh' joke or the adorable Mistletoe setup? We'll say it til we're blue in the face-- we love pranks! They just make life a tad bit more interesting. Now that 2013 has rolled around, we think there's no better way to welcome the year than by bringing you a whole new set of hilarious shenanigans.

Just because it's legal to do it on your own time in Colorado, doesn't mean you can drug your whole class. Two University of Colorado students in Boulder thought it would be funny to bring pot brownies to a morning class to share. Then a bunch of people who ate them had freak- outs. Suddenly it was not so fun.

Ghastly little children and zombie corpses in elevators aren't the only things petrifying people around the world this holiday season. It looks like even Frosty himself is getting in on the act to wish us all a very happy (and spooky) holiday.

Think last week's ghostly elevator prank was tormenting? Think again, because it turns out that ghoulish little girl of yesterday was only the beginning. All Hallows Eve might have passed on the calendar but the undead elevator prank is always good for a scare.

Just to foster the spirit of trust necessary to make students feel comfortable in a learning environment, here's a video of a guy totally tricking his classmates about his identity for an entire semester!

Remember that 'trust fall' game you used to play as a kid? Man, that was scary. In elementary school, it was the game we used to distinguish who the trustworthy friends were and who stunk.

If you know anything about us here at TheFW, it's that we love a good, harmless prank. Cell phone crashing and embarrassing people with talking elevators are just a couple we particularly fancy. Basically, we'd like to think of ourselves as joking experts. Here's a nice, friendly Halloween prank. (We promise there's no Slender Man involved.) A friendly group walked around with candy and a door with a sign on it (advising people to knock, we guess).

Jimmy "Man Who Hates Kids" Kimmel once again asked parents to tell their children that all of their Halloween candy had been eaten. And film it.

Few things are most satisfying than pulling off a really, really good prank. We're talking about the scare-your-pants-off kind that leaves our unsuspecting little siblings and friends falling victim to tons of spazzing out and the occasional tear or two. Basically, it's the best kind of mean joke around, but it's all in good fun!

Taylor Swift has turned the tables on ill-intentioned internet pranksters, resulting in a big win for some much deserving students at a school for the deaf.
