The Casper Police Department has continued to respond to shoplifting calls from our local retailers.

Earlier in December, Comstock had been released from jail after serving time in an unrelated matter.

Officers responded to a call at the west-side Albertsons grocery store on CY Avenue at 5 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shoplifting in progress, according to an affidavit filed in Natrona County Circuit Court.

The Macomb Daily recently reported that it was anything but a high speed chase when a Pontiac, Michigan woman was apprehended for shoplifting at a nearby Walmart.  It seems Jerrie Perkins, 30, was attempting to make a hasty getaway with her $600 worth of unpaid for merchandise.
